Poulet sans Tête is the rotisserie chicken delivery from the restaurant Left Bank. Started two years ago by Laurence Edelman and Micheline Gaulin about two years ago it is perfectly positioned for the pandemic.
Additionally they are serving meals to front line workers via $10 donations at their restaurant.

One of the few remaining bodegas in the West Village, it is run by a close knit Egyptian family, daughter Angie Tamer, photographed. The windows are boarded to protect against looting during the protests against racial injustice and police brutality after the killing of George Floyd.

Dog walking, daycare and boarding in the West Village. Many of her clients left town in the spring - some have returned, some have not, many are working from home and are no longer in need of her services. On their daily walk is her pup Archie and client Fannie.

Nat and Scott have been flexible and creative trying to keep their business profitable during the worst of the shutdown. When non-essential construction was stopped a key part of their revenue dried up.

Owner Sammy Najde treats everyone like a regular and has remained a vital part of many of his regular’s lockdown life.
The shop is boarded up due to the threat of vandalism and looting that occurred for a brief period in NYC during protests of racial injustice and police brutality following the killing of George Floyd.
